As a Commercial Property Secretary, your main responsibility is to assist Fee Earners within the Commercial Property team and contribute to the department's operations. You are expected to exercise a considerable level of self-management and initiative. Furthermore, you are required to function as part of a team and adhere to established practices and procedures regarding compliance and quality standards.

If successful, you will perform the following role as a Legal Secretary.

  • Corresponding with third parties and clients.
  • Requesting Searches, AML (Anti Money Laundering) Checks and submitting Land Registry
  • applications.
  • Digital dictation (Bighand).
  • Using a case management system.
  • Prepare searched and Land Registry applications.
  • Document management and creation.
  • Handling telephone calls, enquiries and requests
  • Dealing with incoming emails and post and replying to correspondence as appropriate.

To apply, you will be required to meet the following criteria:

  • Previous experience working in Residential or Commercial Property
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • IT literate, with knowledge of Microsoft Office and case management systems
