3 month initial contract with the view of extension
£30 - £34 p/h
Islington / Hybrid Working (3 days remote)
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our clients team in Islington.
Key responsibilities:
- Handle a manageable caseload of 10 cases per month, focusing on adult social care, ensuring timely assessments and interventions.
- Perform comprehensive assessments for major adaptations, manual handling, and minor equipment needs, ensuring that all recommendations align with best practices and client needs.
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including a Team Manager, 4 Senior Occupational Therapists, 6 Occupational Therapists, and 2 Occupational Therapy Assistants, to ensure cohesive service delivery.
Requirements:
- Must have at least Diploma/BSc in Occupational Therapy or equivalent and have HCPC registration.
- Adult social care experience of minimum 1 year, with experience in assessing for major adaptions, manual handling and minor equipment.
