I am currently supporting an international, PE backed software company who are looking for a well-rounded Senior Financial Controller to join their dynamic team, this role is fully remote with some travel requirements to the Midlands. They are pitching the position between the £70,000 - £80,000 plus a 15% bonus, private medical and some other brilliant benefits.
The Financial Controller will be looking after the German and Netherlands entities within the business whilst reporting into a Global Finance Director who is keen to work with and progress the right person. You will play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day finance function, play a key part in driving the business from a commercial perspective and implement new processes to assist with future expansion.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare management, annual and departmental accounts with added commentary to the GFD.
- Fluent in speaking either German or Dutch
- Be confident in managing stakeholders who aren't from a finance background.
- Identify areas for process improvement and drive efficiencies.
- Improve the financial reporting process and identify key drivers for business decisions.
Key requirements:
- Post-qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with a minimum of 3 years ideally within a software business, QBE options will be considered.
- All-round experience as an Accountant with exposure to both management and financial accounts.
- Commercial acumen and business partnering skills or the desire to gain that kind of exposure.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
