Management Accountant

Are you an experienced Management Accountant looking for a new challenge? We are delighted to be representing a stable and well established company who are part of a global group, in their search for a new member of their team, based from their office in Banbury, Oxfordshire.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you could be a newly or a part qualified candidate, looking for an environment where there is an opportunity for career progression within a stable and secure business who are very supportive of candidates looking for a challenge within a supportive environment.

On a day to day basis you will be required to carry out the following duties:

  • Support in producing management accounts at month end
  • Provide data analysis for Group Reporting
  • Oversee sales ledger accounting including self billing and credit control
  • Assisting in various weekly/monthly group reporting tasks
  • Supporting in cash forecasting
  • Ensuring correct financial information is being input in to SAP, maintaining accurate records
  • Analysis and reporting
  • Complete VAT returns
  • Intrastat/Extrastat and EC Sales returns
  • Support with year end audit

Applications are welcomed from individuals with the following skills and experience:

  • Qualified or working towards qualification (AAT/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP system would be advantageous, along with Microsoft Excel (essential)
  • Reliable individual, who is a team player looking for career progression
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Analytical individual who has an eye for detail.
