We are looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our educational team. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for education and a commitment to helping students achieve their full potential. The ideal candidate will have experience in an educational setting and the necessary qualifications to support learning across various age groups and abilities.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Provide tailored support to individual students or small groups to aid their learning and development.
  • Assist with the preparation of learning materials and the classroom environment.
  • Work closely with teachers to monitor students' progress and contribute to their learning plans.
  • Encourage students' independence, self-confidence, and engagement in the classroom.
  • Support students with special educational needs, ensuring they have equal access to learning.
  • Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and parents when necessary.
  • Adhere to school policies and procedures, including safeguarding and confidentiality.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience working in an educational setting is essential.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards student development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other educational staff.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development.
