Business Development Manager Philanthropy/Charities

We are looking for a Business Development Manager who is passionate about Philanthropy and wants to transfer into this space.

The company provide a client focused offering that provides their donors with the high level of service that they expect in the private sector while fulfilling charitable goals.

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving the growth and development of the Fund, you will identify business opportunities, grow existing relationships with potential partners and be responsible for growing new ones.

You will grow and encourage philanthropy prospects through networking events, one to one meetings and other opportunities to represent the firm.

Working closely with the Senior Management team to develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with the organisation's goals.

Identify and assess new business opportunities, create and execute plans to reach and exceed targets.

You will be responsible to build and maintain strong relationships with intermediaries within the wealth management sector, which includes law firms, accountancy firms, banks and family offices and other stakeholders.

Represent the firm at networking events, conferences, and meetings.

Prepare compelling proposals, presentations, and reports for prospective clients.

Work with the team to create engaging content across our online presence (blogs and linked-in) as well as internal and external communications to our donors and stakeholders through newsletters.

Working closely with the Relationship Management team, managing clients

To apply you need extremely well presented, with excellent communication skills to meet with very HNW clients, the ability to identify opportunities and present to clients

You will be self-motivated and highly organised with the ability to work autonomously and take ownership for your own workload and schedule

It is essential that you are a confident speaker both on the phone and at events and will relish the opportunity to promote the business and communicate with ease the technical details of what they do

A good understanding of the level of service required by HNW individuals in the private sector and a passion for delivering exceptional donor stewardship

An understanding of the charity sector would be an advantage but is not essential
