We are exclusively partnering with a rapidly growing international company, who operate in America, Australia and Asia**,** renowned for its ground-breaking engineering services. This company is bringing innovation to the residential timber industry by integrating artificial intelligence with expert design, streamlining the process.
As the Head of Design, you will:
- Provide quality assurance by reviewing component designs on a range of projects.
- Train the team members in industry standard practices for estimation and design.
- Consult with customers and adding value through offering insights.
- Maintain relationships with key clients & stakeholders.
- Assist in the efficiency in creating take-offs, pricing/quotes, and quality assurance.
Who we are looking for:
- 8+ years of experience within the timber/residential industry.
- Knowledge on Design, Estimation and Quality Assurance.
- Proficient in software: MiTek, Wolf, Gangnail, Consultec or Industry equivalents.
- Understanding of construction documents plans, building materials, and residential building standards.
- Passion for technology and be comfortable working in a virtual environment with international teams.
- Takes pride in their work and does so with a high-level honesty and integrity.
