Job Summary: A growing company is seeking a Management Accountant to join their Finance team, reporting to the Finance Manager. This role involves supporting the delivery of Group Management Accounts and offers hybrid working options. The position is ideal for someone with experience in monthly accounts reporting and a strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monthly accounts reporting and support with other reporting requirements.
- Active participation in annual budgeting processes.
- Partnering with and supporting specific group entities.
- Completion of allocated management accounts, including detailed analysis, variance, and trend analysis.
- Supporting project forecasts, cost allocation, and liaising with other departments on coding and processes.
- Involvement in financial record-keeping, statutory reporting, and reporting to HMRC.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications (ACCA, ICAS, ICAEW, CIMA, or equivalent) with at least 2 years of experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Sun system knowledge is highly desirable).
- Experience in the energy sector, private equity, or major capital programs is a plus.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with PowerBi are desirable.
