Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Trading Services Analyst to join their rapidly growing Collateral Services Operations team. What you'll do:
As a Trading Services Analyst, you will play a crucial role in our client's Collateral Services Operations team. Your primary responsibility will be creating and maintaining Client Eligibility schedules in Collateral Eligibility Services (CES), ensuring that these are built accurately once the collateral provider and receiver have agreed on eligible collateral types. You will also handle account linkages for all new account requests, providing support to counterparties regarding any queries they may have around their schedules. This role requires flexibility in working hours, excellent communication skills, the ability to prioritise tasks under pressure, and the capacity to work independently.
- Responsible for the creation and maintenance of Client Eligibility schedules in Collateral Eligibility Services (CES)
- Build eligibility schedules in CES once the collateral provider and receiver agree on eligible collateral types for their underlying transaction
- Handle account linkages on all new account requests
- Provide support to counterparties regarding queries they have around their schedules
- Demonstrate flexibility in working hours, including UK bank holidays and occasional weekend work
- Communicate effectively within a dynamic team environment
- Prioritise tasks efficiently under pressure
- Work independently using own initiative
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Trading Services Analyst role is client-focused with strong interpersonal skills. She will have excellent numeracy skills and a keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all her work. She will be able to understand complex models within the financial sphere and demonstrate problem-solving abilities. A flexible approach to working hours and overtime is key, as is the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic team environment, prioritising tasks efficiently under pressure. Education to at least A level standard or equivalent is required, with subjects relating to finance being particularly favourable.
