Elevation Accountancy an Finance are delighted to be working with a fantastic business in the Doncaster area as they look to recruit a Payroll Supervisor into their team on a full time, permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll lead for Monthly Payroll, with line management responsibility for the Payroll Administrators
- Manage the Calculation and Balancing of all Payrolls– Gross to Net/All Pay Items and Deductions
- Manage pay increases in line with Annual Salary Reviews.
- Ensuring FPS /EPS /P46 Car Submissions to HMRC are submitted in the required time to avoid penalties
- Create and maintain all Pay Items in payroll system
- Manage all pay items for NMW and Gender Pay Reporting
- Deal the complex enquiries relating pay/tax/company car tax/benefit tax
- Manage all Salary Sacrifice Schemes
- Ensure all records are GDPR compliant
- Be the lead on all payroll audit information for payroll and pensions
- Manage effective and robust governance of all payroll activities
- Be the subject matter expert of government legislation relating to PAYE, NI, Pension and Pension Schemes
- Create and maintain new payroll reports on an ad hoc basis
- Manage the payroll costing into finance
- Manage the implementation of new payroll processes
Person Specification:
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Flexible, with the ability to work with all levels
- Payroll experience in a lead role
- Able to work independently and possesses strong decision-making skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong at building relationships with stakeholders (at manager and employee level)
- Ability to prioritise effectively and work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment, as well as the ability to work under pressure with changing priorities
- Handle confidential information with complete integrity
- High levels of accuracy, attention to detail and a high level of accountability are essential
