**Position Details:
- Job Role: Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN)
- Band: 6
- Location: Birmingham
- Duration: 3 months (ongoing)
- Schedule: Full-time
- Start Date: ASAP
- Rate of Pay: £25.50 per hour
**Role Overview:
As a Community Psychiatric Nurse, you will play a crucial role in delivering compassionate and comprehensive care to patients within the community.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting regular home visits to ensure patient needs are being met.
- Administering medication at scheduled times to address patient needs.
- Engaging in meaningful conversations to understand and monitor patient conditions, identifying improvements or setbacks.
- Performing risk assessments to ensure patient safety and create a secure environment for their treatment.
**Qualifications and Requirements:
- Active registration with the NMC as a Mental Health Nurse.
- Demonstrated community experience.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- A strong commitment to providing the highest quality of patient care.
