As our business continues to grow, we are thrilled to expand our team with a new role: Neurodevelopmental Assessor. This position offers a unique opportunity to join our service and collaborate with the Clinical Services management team to foster a culture of quality improvement and drive clinical workforce development.

As an experienced and registered professional with specialized training in Neurodiversity assessments, you will play a crucial role in evaluating young people and adults to determine if they meet the diagnostic criteria for autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

You will conduct comprehensive assessments using standardized diagnostic tools and clinical interviews to evaluate young people and adults. Your evaluations will gather detailed information on their developmental history, behaviour and cognitive functioning.

Every day you will...

  • Utilise standardised diagnostic tools and clinical interviews to perform detailed evaluations of young people and adults, gathering information on their developmental history, behaviour, and cognitive functioning
  • Undertake ADOS, ADIR and ADHD assessments remotely on children, young people and adults
  • Perform QB Check Analysis
  • Prepare clear and concise assessment reports in accordance with contract requirements

What will help you succeed in this role?

  • Significant experience post-registration in services for children, young people, or adults with ADHD and related disorders
  • Relevant professional registration and qualifications (NMC, SWE, or HCPC).
  • Experience working with neurodevelopmental disorders.
  • proficient in conducting mental health assessments.
  • Certified in ADHD assessment (UKANN)
