Role Overview: Our client is seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor to join its dynamic team. Whether you're a seasoned professional with many years of post-qualification experience or an ambitious associate ready to take the next step, we encourage you to apply. Our client will consider candidates ranging from newly qualified up to partner-level lawyers. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on complex and fascinating cases, advise clients, and contribute to the firm's growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independent Caseload: Manage your own caseload of employment matters, demonstrating autonomy and initiative while working under the supervision of a partner.
  • Client Advice: Provide clear and strategic advice to clients, ensuring compliance with employment law and best practices. Crucially, the successful candidate will be interested in representing both employees and employers.
  • Business Development: You will need to contribute to business development initiatives, building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Collaboration: You will work closely with colleagues across different practice areas to provide holistic legal solutions.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified solicitor (preferably 3 years' PQE in employment law but less experienced candidates will be considered on their merits.)
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and case law.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proven track record of handling employment cases.
  • Ambition to progress within the firm.
