The client are a global FMCG that are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join the team on a permanent basis. The company is growing very quickly and are looking for a candidate that is eager to progress. The successful candidate will be studying towards their ACCA, AAT or CIMA qualification and will be eager to grow into a Group Management Accountant role. The successful candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.

The client are an established and fast growing FMCG business that are looking for a new Assistant Management Accountant to join the team. The successful candidate will be joining a team of approximately 15 and will report directly into the Senior Management Accountant. The role will be collaborating with a number of different people and they are keen to make sure the successful candidate is eager to progress through the business. The head office is based in the West End (Mayfair).
Description
The successful Assistant Management Accountant will:
- Assisting with the production of the group consolidated Management Accounts
- Business partnering with senior stakeholders in various departments around the business
- Working closely with the senior stakeholders and taking them through their budgets, whilst also discussing ways of improving their budget allocation
- General Ledger management
- AR land AP edger overview
- Ensuring accurate coding of the AP invoices onto the system.
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Accruals and Prepayments
- VAT returns
- Assisting with external audits
- Ad hoc analysis and reporting
Profile
The successful Assistant Management Accountant will:
- 2-3 years experience in a similar Assistant Management Accountant role
- Flexible on prior industry experience (FMCG, retail or fashion is desirable, not essntial)
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience supporting multi-site organisations
- Studying toward the ACCA, CIMA or AAT qualification
- Must have strong Excel skills (V-lookups, Pivot Tables, Summifs, Formulas)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
