Job Opportunity: Endpoint Systems Engineer
About the Role:
The Endpoint Systems Engineer will be essential in overseeing and maintaining the System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) infrastructure and Intune to support a robust, secure endpoint environment. This role ensures the smooth and secure deployment of software, updates, and patches across an extensive network of over 20,000 endpoint devices.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Strong experience in desktop administration and management within a large, complex organization, ideally in a higher education or similar environment.
- In-depth knowledge of application packaging and deployment within a Windows ecosystem.
- Proficiency in scripting, automation, SCCM, Group Policy, endpoint protection, and patch management.
- Experience in using Intune and other endpoint management tools to optimize desktop user experiences.
- Familiarity with emerging trends in application packaging and endpoint management solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Troubleshoot and resolve SCCM-related issues, providing support to end-users and IT staff.
- Experience with Tanium.
- Understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and related technologies.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate.
