We are currently seeking a highly skilled Finance Assistant to join our team in Birkenhead. The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified (Level 3/4) and have excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with working knowledge of Access Finance and Arbor systems. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day financial operations, including invoice processing, bank reconciliations, and ledger management.
- Support the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports.
- Use Access Finance to manage financial data, track expenses, and generate reports.
- Utilize Arbor for financial tracking and student-related transactions.
- Perform detailed data analysis and financial modeling using Microsoft Excel.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Collaborate with the finance team and other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
Requirements:
- AAT Level 3/4 qualification.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and data analysis.
- Working knowledge of Access Finance and Arbor systems.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
