Are you an enthusiastic, creative, and dedicated Year 5 Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in a vibrant primary school? We are seeking a passionate educator to join a welcoming team in Cranleigh, starting this September.

Location: Cranleigh, Surrey
Start Date: September 2025
Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM (Full-time, Term Time)
Parking: On-site parking available

The Role

As our new Year 5 Teacher, you will be responsible for:

  • Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse needs of all pupils in your Year 5 class, ensuring excellent progress and attainment.
  • Creating a positive, stimulating, and safe learning environment where children feel valued, happy, and confident.
  • Assessing and monitoring pupil progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Maintaining accurate records of pupil achievement and contributing to pupil reports.
  • Collaborating effectively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support pupil well-being and learning outcomes.
  • Contributing to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and school events.
  • Upholding the school's ethos and policies, including safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Has proven experience of teaching in Key Stage 2, particularly Year 5.
  • Possesses a strong understanding of the Year 5 curriculum.
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate young learners.
  • Has strong communication and interpersonal skills, building positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
  • Is committed to continuous professional development and contributing to a collaborative team environment.
