I'm recruiting for a bright and outgoing Junior to join a specialist freight forwarder based locally to Heathrow. You will be trained in Ocean freight Imports from start - finish and although some freight experience is desirable this is not essential.
Daily duties will include:
- Handling LCL FCL shipments
- Arranging collection and delivery
- Liaising with shipping lines, hauliers and relevant departments
- Completing customs entries
- Processing paperwork including pre alert, bill of lading and invoices
- Monitoring shipments and updating customers.
Experience needed:
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong PC skills
- Steady work history as a full 5 year check will be completed
- Some experience in the freight / logistics industry is beneficial
Working hours:
- Monday - Friday 0900am - 1730pm
