The role involves providing astute legal advice and representation across a diverse range of landlord and tenant issues, as well as general acquisition and disposal work. The ideal candidate will manage a varied caseload, encompassing lease renewals, relocations, lease management, rent reviews, property refinancing, and the property facets of corporate transactions.
Your caseload will consist of the following matters:
- Landlord and Tenant matters
- Succession
- Disrepair
- Boundary disputes
- Adverse possession
- Nuisance
- Trespass
- Enforcement of leasehold covenants
- Party walls and access to neighbouring land
- Possession proceedings and forfeiture
- Business lease renewals and dilapidation
- Service charges and tenancy deposits
- Collective enfranchisement and lease extensions
- Applying for injunctions
- Eviction
- Rent arrears
Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience, demonstrating a track record of independent work on complex matters, alongside a collaborative spirit to work within a dynamic team.
