Search Consultancy are supporting to recruit for an exciting role as an Assistant Management Accountant to join a great team in York on a fixed term contract for 6-12 months working Monday to Friday with hybrid working options.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who wants to expand on their accountancy career and is looking for some quick work to get themselves started.
This role you will be reporting into the Management Accountant you will assist to secure the integrity of the financial data. You will assist with periodic financial accounting and reporting to various departments. You will be responsible for assisting with month end accounts, calculating and posting accrual and prepayments, maintaining and supporting accruals analysis, balance sheet account reconciliations and analysing financial results.
To be considered for this role you would need previous experience as an Assistant to Financial Accountant or Management Accountant role, part qualified AAT or equivalent (desirable), excellent attention to detail, advanced skills and experience in excel for example SUMIF, PIVOT, proficient user of Microsoft Office packages and ability to manage competing and strict deadlines.
