Our client is an educational trust who seek to hire a Financial Analyst. The role will suit somebody with good excel skills who is used to dealing with data and being able to build, analyse and monitor reports, forecasts and budgets.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the management of the Capital funds and Fixed Asset register, to include timely capitalisation of completed capital projects.
- Provide an accurate picture of the Shared Services functions' financial situation for the current and future periods and support central management with financial data analysis.
- Responsible for the preparation of monthly Budget Monitoring Reports for academies and Shared Services and conduct reviews with relevant heads of service and managers.
- Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis to support financial decision-making.
- Assist with the preparation of the Monthly Performance report which includes budget variance analysis and review of income and expenditure.
Requirements
- Effective user of Microsoft Office packages.
- Advanced Excel a distinct advantage.
- Able to develop and maintain efficient record keeping systems with consistency.
- Able to analyse and interpret complex information and make recommendations
- Able to problem solve.
- Ability to communicate with a range of audiences.
