Hays are working with an organisation in Halifax who are looking to welcome a Permanent Company Credit Controller to their team.
Your New Role
- Receiving bank statements. Working from live bank statements
- Updating cashbook
- Taking payments over the phone by Visa
- Looking at credit stopped accounts
- Leasing with customer service team and authorise releases
- Picking up the phone and speaking with customers
- Emailing statements at end of month
- Invoicing run by a customer service team
- Raising credit notes for customers
- Daily Mail checking
- Posting and allocating cash into sales ledger
- Refreshing Excel debtors list
What you'll need
You will need good communication skills, as well as the ability to confidently liaise with people within the team. Also, we are looking for someone who has the willingness to get involved with other jobs if and when they are needed.Essential skills:
- Past credit experience 5+years
- Can receive bank statements
- Update cash book
- Confident speaking on the telephone
What you'll get in return
- Salary: £27,000
- Full-time hours- 8:30-5:00
- 24 days annual leave + bank holidays
- Bupa cash plan after 3 months of employment
- 2 bonuses a year
