Customs Team Leader

The Role:
As a Customs Team Leader you would have a small team of four individuals reporting to you, so the successful candidate would need to be self-motivated and willing to take ownership to deliver.
You will need a solid customs background with up-to-date knowledge on all things customs related, ensuring the high volume of customs entries are processed in a timely and accurate manner by our appointed Dutch customs broker. Also validating product tariff classifications and ensuring the customers comply with Dutch Customs/EU Valuation Rulings.
The successful candidate will also need to support customers to resolve any errors or omissions with customs documentation, when they occur, managed the process by being naturally proactive and taking ownership to deliver solutions and support the Finance Team to ensure processed jobs are invoiced in a timely and accurate manner
Essential Criteria:
- Solid Customs background/ Team Leader experience also
- Experience in Compliance Procedures
- Good understanding – Ocean Import Customs
- Experience in business analysis.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Ability to work under pressure.

Salary & Benefits:
For this position, our client is looking to pay Salary of £30k - £35k depending on experience maybe more for the right candidate
The role is three days office based with two days a week from home, monthly bonus scheme, life cover, pension scheme and 25 days leave plus free parking
