An exciting opportunity has opened up with a well-established financial services organization to work on a cutting-edge greenfield project. We are looking for a highly experienced backend developer with a strong background in .NET and Azure to join their expanding team. This is a fully remote position, offering the chance to work in a dynamic and innovative environment.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality enterprise software, web, and API solutions.
- Actively contribute to Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, product demos, backlog refinement workshops, and retrospectives.
- Participate in and lead code and architecture reviews, fostering continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the team.
Evaluate existing software, systems, architectures, and processes, offering expert insights and recommendations for improvements, innovation, and automation.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proficiency in .NET / C#
- Experience with Azure Function Apps
- Expertise in Azure SQL / SQL Server
- Knowledge of Azure ETL processes
- Familiarity with Azure Data Factory
Additional Information:
- This position is outside IR35, offering flexibility for contractors.
- The role is fully remote, though being based in the UK is preferred for time zone alignment.
