Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - this is essential
- Eligibility to work in the UK is essential
- An enhanced DBS on the update service
- Minimum of 3 Months teaching experience in the UK
- Experience of teaching science in KS3 and KS4
- Thorough knowledge of the national curriculum and proficiency in teaching all three science disciplines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students
Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons in line with the UK curriculum
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to accommodate diverse learning needs and abilities
- Create opportunities for practical experimentation and exploration to enhance students' understanding of scientific concepts
- Foster a nurturing and supportive classroom environment where every student feels valued and motivated
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and drive continuous improvement in teaching and learning
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events to enrich students' educational experiences
