Reed Talent Solutions are working with Cadent Gas on the search for Asset Update Administrator.
As an Asset Update Administrator, you'll be proactive in all aspects of the work and have the ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement. You'll attend and constructively participate in regular Team Briefs as required, seeking out coaching / development opportunities, and where necessary attend internal/external training. You'll work compliantly in accordance with relevant Cadent policies & procedures, ?whilst building and developing effective working relationships with stakeholders and customers.

Your Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for updating Cadent's asset / maintenance records within our systems in accordance with policies, processes, procedures, and SLAs.
- Receive and validate work information to ensure all relevant documents / information are included for asset and or system update; ensuring that they represent an accurate reflection of the activity undertaken on site.
- Liaise with relevant stakeholders to resolve / complete any queries with the work information including any design / re-design activities / further investigation activities.
- Ensure asset records are updated in accordance with relevant policies.
- Complete any additional project closure activities where required.
- Work collaboratively with IT to monitor system health and ensure relevant housekeeping is undertaken.
- Be flexible and carry out any other appropriate duties in accordance with business needs.
- Complete ad-hoc administration duties; including MI production, arranging / minuting meetings etc.
- Work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Skills/Requirements:
- Experience with ESRI Digitising / Spatial experience is a must
- Working knowledge of relevant policies / associated Local Work Procedures and its applications.
- Working knowledge of ESRI, SAP and supporting systems.
- Competent in the use of standard desktop packages, i.e. Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Be motivated to learn new skills and tools and be flexible to deal with change.
- Be self-aware and understand their personal impact on others.
- Well organised, motivated, resourceful and able to demonstrate that they are passionate about continuous improvement, with the ability to work accurately within tight deadlines/ team SLA's and on their own initiative.
- Has great attention to detail and is able to compare and contrast records to ensure the level of accuracy set out in policies and local work procedures
Key Details:
- Job Title: Asset Update Administrator
- Start date: July 2025
- Pay rate: £13.01 per hour
- Contract type: 12 month assignment via Reed Talent Solutions then potential permanent with Cadent Gas
- Shift pattern: Monday to Friday 8am - 4:30pm, 37 hours per week
- Location: Hybrid working between Home & Coventry Office - Ansty Business Park, Coventry, CV79JU.
- Training : based on site 2-3 months dependent on experience, thereafter 1-2 days per week in Ansty office
