Independent Reviewing Officer- - on going contract
NonStop Care is currently working with a well established authority in South East, who are looking for a Independent Reviewing Officer to join their service in the safeguarding and Reviewing Team .
The authority works collaboratively with children and families ensuring the best outcomes for children and a rewarding work environment for you! You will have the comfort of joining an authority with experienced staff/ management helping you along the way!
Responsibilities:
- The role will involve travel to placements, both face to face meetings and hybrid meetings and participating in any team away days and team meetings.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in a related field.
- Experience of all service user groups and with users from ethnic minorities.
- Experience of residential and family placement services.
- Experience of child protection work
- knowledge and experience of the systems for children in care and be professionally confident and competent in challenging standards of care and practice
- Registration with Social Work England
- Excellent report writing skills/assessment skills
- Significant IRO experience
- Enhanced DBS
- Professional references
