Compliance Manager Insurance

We are pleased to bring to market a new Compliance Manager role for a successful broking group who provide a great place to work for those who wish to progress their career. It's an exciting time to be joining them, as they have lots going on, and big plans for the future! In line with these plans, they are now looking for an experienced compliance professional to join them to lead and develop their Compliance function.

Working under a leadership team of a very passionate and knowledgeable board of directors, there is a real team spirit here, with a fantastic customer centric ethos, based in stunning offices in Bristol Temple Quays.

You will be tasked with overseeing the internal compliance procedures, across the group, both online and offline, supporting with financial promotions, quality assurance and product governance, working closely on regulatory breaches, complaints, data protection and other financial crime requirements.

You will also be required to deliver training of the procedures being implemented to the wider team, conducting new audits and reviews to ensure timely implementation of new procedures and preparing and completing of regular reports to the Directors and Shareholders and be able to suggest improvements for the business and group on everything compliance related.

This is ideally a full-time role (35 hours a week) however they will consider somebody working 4 days a week too (28 hours). You will be responsible for managing 1 Compliance Officer and head up he groups Compliance implementation and management of their compliance processes. Ideally, they'd like somebody from an Insurance background but are also open to those from a wider Financial Services background.

Salary on offer is £50-60k, depending on experience, plus benefits..

Office Hours are Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm, however they offer flexi time, so you can work 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm or 10am to 6pm to suit. They also offer a hybrid working environment, with staff able to work from home up to 40 days a year. They also offer:-
