Do you have experience within distribution centres? If so, we have a position on an ongoing temporary contract.
Working hours:
Monday - Friday (8:30am - 4:30pm)
Duties:
- Collecting prepared orders from Central Stores, loading vehicles, using advanced driving skills
- Deliver to NELFT sites, following agreed delivery routes/schedules.
- Unloading stock and ensuring safe receipt by recipients
- Use a picking sheet to pick stock for orders and put stock in cages for deliveries with appropriate paperwork.
- Receive goods in and put stock away
- Complete paperwork as and when required
- Have a working knowledge of Microsoft software
- Able to learn new software/applications as required.
- Communicate effectively with a range of people
Requirements:
- Essential - full clean driving licence
- Including driving Large Goods Vehicles (LGV)
