Axon Moore has partnered with an SME in Skelmersdale that is growing quickly and who have recently diversified into new markets. They're continuing to reinvest into their footprint of operations across the North West, and they'll be continuing to grow their market share in 2024.
The Financial Controller will be the right hand person to the FD, working in close proximity day-to-day with them in the office, receiving intentional support and development with the view of the candidate becoming a long term leader to their finance department.
The Financial Controller position will be a hands on role, managing a team, assisting the FD on value creation projects and driving value creation around the business. The investors have ambitious plans and they want to hire a leader that can be present day-to-day in the office.
Candidate Profile:
- The candidate must be industry trained or have some substantial management accounts experience post-practice
- Commerciality is key – this is a rapidly growing organisation and they need an entrepreneurial candidate who can understand the business and drive its performance through business partnering on the back of the accounts pack
- Open to all qualification backgrounds – ACA / CIMA / ACCA
