Our client, a well-established and expanding International Freight Forwarding & Logistics Provider, which provides a wide range of innovative solutions that ensures their customers' supply chains have a competitive edge, are looking to recruit a talented Dangerous Goods Air Export Operator, to be based at offices nearby Heathrow Airport.

Main Purpose of the Role:

Reporting to the Air Freight Manager, to deal with all aspects of Air freight forwarding export operations. This role involves overseeing all facets of air freight documentation, administration and coordination, as well as providing a superior level of customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Dangerous Goods Air Export Operator:

  • Handling air export freight forwarding operations from start to finish
  • Arrange Collection/ Bookings/ Cutting AWB's/ Customs Declarations etc.
  • Communicate effectively with shippers, overseas agents, and airlines
  • General customer service, providing shipment updates etc.
  • Book transportation
  • Provide and deliver full airline references details on MAWB's
  • Ensure Post flights are done the next working day
  • Ensure accruals are loaded and files invoiced out
  • Complete the "housekeeping duties" on a fair allocated basis
  • Manage emails and general office duties

To Be Considered:

  • Strong experience in Air Freight Export Operations - dealing with operations from start to finish
  • Dangerous Goods Certified
  • Must have 5 years of continuous residency and work history in the UK
