Are you experienced in housing compliance or property inspections?
£25 p/h PAYE
Contract Type: Temporary (3 months) likely extension
Must have a UK Driving license, and access to a vehicle to use for work, you will be required to carry out visits within The London Borough of Ealing from 9.00 to 5.00pm 4 days a week.

About the job
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to an exceptionally high standard, inspecting safety compliance within the privately rented sector.
- To carry out inspections of privately rented properties to ensure the Council regulates the privately rented stock.
- Inspections of properties are required to identify hazards, defects, and non-compliance with property standards
- Practical knowledge and skills sufficient to effectively carry out property inspections.
- Ability to take photographs, prepare reports, and record accurate contemporaneous notes.
- Punctual and proficient in managing workload and meeting performance targets with minimal supervision.
- Good communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to demonstrate good presentational and interpersonal skills including customer relations and team working.
About you
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of housing standards and hazard identification.
- Ability to inspect properties for safety, defects, and maintenance compliance
- Access to a vehicle for use during work hours, mileage can be claimed
- Positive attitude
- Approachable and great customer service skills
- To have basic IT skills.
- Desirable
- Experience in Housing inspections, or knowledge and understanding or housing standards and hazard identification.
