Welcome & Service Assistant

Summary

The Clent Hills covers over 550 acres of land and welcomes visitors from across the Midlands all year round. This role will be based at Nimmings Wood car park and café, our main visitor area. As the public face of our properties based at our outdoor welcome centre, you'll provide a warm, friendly welcome, give information about the property, answer questions and make sure everyone has an enjoyable and memorable visit.

We are recruiting for both an annualised contract and a zero hours contract. Both interviews will be held on 5th November 2024.

Salary: £11.64 an hour

Duration: Fixed Term Contract until 30th November 2025

Hours: This role is an hourly paid, fixed term role. Wherever possible we aim to offer a consistent working pattern, but we're looking for flexibility as it may be necessary for us to alter this pattern from time to time to suit the needs of the business. We'd give you as much notice of this as possible.

Interview Date: Tuesday 5th November 2024

What it's like to work here Reporting to the Welcome and Service Assistant Manager, you'll be part of an exciting and experienced team of Welcome and Service Assistants working at Clent Hills to deliver exceptional customer service and showcase our beautiful outdoor spaces. There will also be opportunities to help deliver seasonal trails and family events, as well as focussing on membership sales and car park income. This role is expected to work regular weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis. What you'll be doing

Day to day, you'll deliver a great all-round customer service experience – whatever the weather. You'll be on hand answering queries and listen to what our visitors need so you can share the right information. Your role is to make sure our visitors have the best day they can. You'll have the chance to be involved in different aspects of the visitor experience, from key property events to social media promotion.

Great visitor experiences are in our nature, and we believe everyone should feel welcomed, appreciated and more engaged because of the excellent service you provide. This role would suit anyone with enthusiasm for delivering great customer service and is comfortable working outside in all conditions all year round. It will also require someone who can think practically and respond appropriately to any situation that might transpire, whether it be injuries, lose cattle or damaged property - no two days are the same.

Other roles include maintaining the site to a certain standard - such as litter picking, border maintenance and keeping the toilets cleaned and stocked, all helping to provide the best experience possible for our customers.
