Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a large, very well established, utilities business in Leeds. This role is for a 14 month FTC to cover a maternity leave with the flexibility of hand over at both ends. The position will cover all Credit Control / Sales Ledger and you will directly report into the Finance Manager. You would be working within a fast paced office but the finance team are very supportive of each other and full company training will be provided.

Key responsibilities
- Full responsibility of running the Credit Control Function
- Managing customer Credit limits
- Carrying out credit checks on new customers
- Collecting of overdue accounts via phone and letter
- Cash allocation
- Full sales ledger responsibilities including weekly banking
- Dealing with invoice queries
- Account litigation where necessary
- Data reconciliation and preparing reports for customers
- Petty Cash handling
- Month end close down
- Monthly reporting of customer spends
- Addition ad hoc duties as and when required
To be successful considered for this role, you will bring the following experience / skills:
- Experience of working within a credit control position is essential
- Qualifications to GCSE or NVQ2 level with passes in Maths and English at grade 3
- MS Office packages with VLOOKUPS and Pivot Tables is desirable but training can be provided
