Join Our Team as a Merchandiser!
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our team in Leeds.
The Role:
As a Merchandiser, you will ensure our products meet the high standards required to support our Sales Team and meet regional merchandising needs. Your role is critical in maintaining the visual and functional quality of our products and displays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Merchandise company products to the required standard for regional needs
- Collaborate with the Merchandising Supervisor or External Sales Managers to prioritize ongoing work
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety legislation and procedures during internal and external tasks
- Operate equipment safely to comply with H&S legislation
- Maintain meticulous attention to detail, ensuring all layouts and labels are accurate.
- Manage sample costs effectively
- Keep company property and work areas clean and tidy, adhering to company guidelines.
- Ensure the customer's premises are left clean, safe, and tidy
- Understand and communicate the importance of merchandising to the business
- Possess good product knowledge
- Consult with supervisors before making on-site decisions
- Communicate stock and resource needs (e.g., hand boards, cradles) to managers
Competencies and Personal Attributes:
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Customer service-oriented
- Detail-focused with good time management
- Basic tiling and joinery skills (training provided if necessary)
- Clean driving license
