We are currently recruiting for a Senior Property Claims Adjuster on behalf of our client, an exciting insurer based in the heart of the city.
The successful candidate will adjust their own portfolio of UK and worldwide Property Claims from first advice to settlement. The cases are varied and may include both Lead and Follow Claims to a high technical level.

Key Responsibilities
- Undertaking an initial evaluation of cause of loss to determine whether a claim is covered, and what further information may be required.
- Deciding on the company's response to claims - investigating, negotiating and settling claims within statutory and company guidelines. This includes coverage analysis and policy determination.
- Assisting with the process for setting accurate, realistic and timely claims reserves.
- Liaising with clients, loss adjusters, solicitors, experts, brokers, TPAs and members of the senior management team as appropriate for claims service and investigation.
- Leading market meetings.
- Acting as a referral point for other Claims Handlers with regards to training, coaching and technical issues.
- Developing and maintaining excellent relationships with key brokers and clients at all relevant levels of the business.
- Working in tandem with the Underwriting function, participate in initiatives to build profile and broker/client confidence.
- Ensuring accurate entry of claims data into company systems and assisting in the preparation of MI.
Key Requirements
- Candidates must have significant UK and worldwide Property Claims handling experience.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
