RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and enhance credit risk strategies for lending portfolios utilizing data-driven methodologies to assess and manage credit risk effectively.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of customer credit profiles, trends, and economic indicators to identify potential risks and opportunities in the portfolio.
- Lead a team of credit risk analysts, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and business development, to align credit risk strategies with overall business objectives.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or related fields.
- Proven experience in credit risk analysis, strategy development, and portfolio management within lending
- Strong proficiency in statistical analysis tools such as SAS, R, or Python, and experience with data visualization tools.
- Previous experience leading or managing a team of credit risk analysts is a plus.
- Familiarity with credit scorecards, decision trees, and other credit risk models.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think analytically and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to convey complex information to diverse stakeholders effectively.
- A self-motivated and results-driven attitude, with a passion for achieving excellence in credit risk management.
