LTF Recruitment are partnering with a fantastic, Primary School in Ealing who are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to support in their Reception Class starting this upcoming September providing general classroom assistance and delivering interventions to help children raise their attainment in development areas. This a long-term to permanent role, for the academic year at the minimum with the opportunity to progress into a permanent position.
The role:
- Assisting the teacher in delivering work with the children in the class
Supporting children with their classwork, and their reading and writing skills
- Planning and leading targeted interventions to support pupils in development areas
- Undertaking observations of pupils and contributing to pupil records
- Supporting the class teacher with the general management and supervision of the classroom
- This role involves accompanying the class for swimming lessons once a week. Therefore, applicants must be able to swim and willing to support children in the pool environment.

- Empathy, patience, and a compassionate approach to supporting children.
