ROLE - Quality Assurance Engineer
LOCATION – Surrey
TERM – Permanent
SALARY - £35,000 - £45,000 per annum dependant on experience
I'm working with a great client of mine who specialises within the Electronics manufacturing industry and they are on the lookout for a Quality Assurance Engineer on a permanent basis, in the surrey area.
The Quality Assurance Engineer will ideally have the following:
- Degree, HND Qualification in Quality, Mechanical Engineering or a similar technical subject
- Have industry experience working within a similar quality assurance role within another manufacturing engineering environment
- Experience of working in an ISO9001 environment ideally
- Good knowledge of quality assurance methods and tools such as 8D, Six Sigma etc.
- Hands on experience of working with inspection and measurement equipment
- Any Health and Safety and Environmental Standards knowledge would be advantageous
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Be well organised and able to work well under pressure
- Able to work well individually as well as within a team
- Good attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
The Quality Assurance Engineer role will involve:
- Working full time onsite as part of the engineering team
- Ensuring all products and services meet ISO90001 standards
- Conducting quality audits
- Being involved in quality inspections
- Implementing any process improvements that are identified
- Working as part of a cross-functional team
- Supporting overall continuous improvement activities
