Entrepreneurial and highly reputable investor has an exciting vacancy for a commercially astute and results focused Investment Manager. The client is a well established venture capital fund who have successfully created a significant number of jobs in the Yorkshire region. They work closely and provide valuable advice and support to rapidly expanding SMEs and start up businesses.
The role:
The primary focus of this exciting opportunity is to provide a high level of advice and support across the full investment lifecycle, ensuring the best possible return for investors.
You will be expected to network and build up a regional market presence, regularly present to management teams and manage the work in progress from origination to completion.
Key duties include:
- Writing up investment and work in progress reports.
- Financial modelling.
- Investment committee due diligence reports.
- Sit on the board of portfolio organisations.
- Work closely with experienced investment colleagues.
The candidate:
The successful candidate will ideally be a qualified accountant with a strong investments or corporate finance background. You must be articulate, enjoy networking and meeting people and possess strong report writing, negotiation and financial modelling skills. The ability to perform well across diverse groups in a variety of situations, be hardworking and consistently reliable and determined are a must.
