They are in an extremely exciting period of growth, with 270 events planned and 300,000 entrants expected in 2024.

Job purpose: Sales Account Manager - Homebased (some travel) ,may suit a telesales executive looking for their first account management role.

Salary package:

£25,000 - £35,000 base (commission and bonus structure to be discussed - all depending on experience £10-15k p.a. commssion potential). Plus car allowance paid monthly £250

We are seeking an ambitious and driven individual with a passion for sales and client satisfaction to join a rapidly growing company. You will play a key part in supporting our valued partners who sponsor some of the UK's leading sporting events. This is dual role of both new business sales and managing existing accounts within London/Surrey.

As a Regional Sales Account Manager, you will be the key link between the company and partners. Your role will be to support the Head of Partnerships to ensure our partners receive exceptional service and maximise their return on investment. Whilst also having responsibility for growing revenue from existing partners, as well as identifying and securing revenue from new business partners within your defined territory in line with agreed KPI's.

The ideal candidate will be able to foster relationships at all levels of business, applying a driven approach, and possess excellent communication skills along with having a fantastic attention to detail.

  • Developing new and existing relationships and assisting our partners wherever possible.
  • Engaging with new clients to create opportunities to partner and deliver our services
  • Providing regular support and advice to each partner to maximise their return on investment
  • Lead hunting, sourcing, and leading on regular online and face to face meetings to provide strategic advice and collate information
  • Creating resources and technical support to our partners via in-house CRM
  • Ensuring all partners are fully supported and have a comprehensive understanding of each account's specific needs, deliverables and current status.
  • Liaise with external teams and suppliers to ensure they are aligned with the partners requirements
  • Keep up to date tracking of all accounts, reporting on them regularly to make sure all requirements are being met
  • Providing feedback and suggestions to the team on how we can improve our ever-evolving offering
  • Work closely with the wider partnerships team to support the teams overall aims and objectives
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the team as and when required.

Qualifications and Experience: Sales Account Manager

It is essential for you to have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commercially driven, with the ability to own the full sales cycle from lead generation through to retention and management of accounts/partners.
  • Proven history of managing partnerships/accounts, fostering a positive relationship at the same time as growing account revenue.
  • Able to stay calm under pressure
  • Able to manage own workload and calendar
  • Strong Organisational skills
  • Customer service experience
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel throughout the UK and work outside of normal working hours (including weekend work) when the occasion demands.

It is desirable for you to have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Keen interest in and knowledge of sports events
  • Knowledge of event sponsorship
  • Proficient in using applications like Slack and Google Drive
  • Experience of working in the charity/voluntary sector
