KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Work closely with managers, team leaders and team members to identify the production needs of the business.
- Master Production Schedule (MPS) management.
- Processing sales requests.
- Monitoring and maintenance of sales orders (OTIF).
- Maintenance of shop floor loading report.
- Raising works orders and production of associated documentation.
- Completing works orders / job costing and clearing shortages.
- Timely introduction of Engineering Change Notes (ECN's).
- Evaluation and reporting of materials shortages.
- Contribution to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Adherence to Company Health, Safety and Environmental Policy.
- Any other duty that may be properly deemed by the Operations Manager.
- General Production office administration.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
- Methodical – able to work to Company departmental procedures in scope of ISO 9001:2000
- Reliable – understands and responds to the need for ensuring a quality service to our customers
- Attention to detail
- IT literate (including a minimum of ‘basic' skill level in Microsoft Excel, Word, EFACS)
- Good communication skills (cross-departmental)
- Good team worker
- Takes responsibility for own actions
- Level-headed – able to cope with pressure (information and issues)
- Flexible attitude to working
- Punctual
