About the Role:
Our client, a leading Fleet Underwriting Agency, is seeking a confident and technically proficient Motor Claims Handler to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing claims, particularly in the areas of Theft, Property Damage, or Large Losses. Experience with fleet vehicles is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage and process motor claims from initial notification to settlement.
- Assess claims involving Theft, Property Damage, or Large Losses, ensuring all aspects are thoroughly investigated.
- Provide technical expertise and advice on complex claims issues.
- Liaise with policyholders, brokers, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth claims process.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Requirements:
- Significant experience in motor claims handling, with a focus on Theft, Property Damage, or Large Losses.
- Strong technical knowledge and the ability to assess and manage complex claims.
- Previous experience with fleet vehicle claims is highly advantageous.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and hit the ground running.
