The Company
A leader of the automotive industry are looking for an experience Infrastructure Engineer to join their high-performance team. The team is built up of over 20 Infrastructure/Support Engineers and due to consistent growth across the business the team are looking to bring in another Engineer to help support them on their exciting journey. The company head up the UKs supply of automotive materials due to their streamlined delivery which takes literal minutes. Despite the nature of the business, they are big believers in keeping up to date with the latest and greatest technology available, meaning this role offers great growth and upskilling opportunities.
The Role
Within the role you'll have a range of responsibilities that'll fall under your remit. From designing and implementing scalable and high performance infrastructure to monitoring security alerts and incidents. There is a strong security element to this role as the business doesn't have a dedicated security team as of yet. Another area to be picked up in this role is the networking side. They use Cisco for the most part so any experience or certifications such as CCNA, CCNP or similar will be advantageous. Familiarity of ISO 27001 and ITIL best practices will also put you in good stead for this position.
