HR Administrator

I am working with a growing engineering company who are currently seeking an experienced Administrator to support our HR team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of administrative activities, including the maintenance of employee training and development records.

This role is integral to ensuring the smooth operation of HR services and training across our organisation.

Day-to-day of the role as a HR Administartor:

  • Input data and complete employee HR processes within the HRIS.
  • Act as a note-taker during formal and informal HR meetings.
  • Handle general ad-hoc administration and letter writing.
  • Generate monthly HR reports for the HR Team and Senior Management Team.
  • Attend and support HR/Training audit meetings as required.
  • Maintain employee skills, competency profiles, training records, and certifications within the HRIS.
  • Arrange employee training courses and maintain training plans within the HRIS.
  • Maintain the document management system (DMS) and support with invoice reconciliation.
  • Provide general ad-hoc administration support to the Senior Management Team, including diary management, annual calendar setup, and booking travel requirements.
  • Arrange meeting rooms and catering for onsite training sessions.
  • Undertake any other associated administrative tasks as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications for the HR Administartor:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent team working skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Collaborative and able to work effectively as part of a small team.
  • Flexibility to travel to other group sites.
  • CIPD level 3 membership or working towards it is advantageous.
