Senior Intelligence Manager

Salary: Grade B - £39,390 (National Framework) or £44,792 (London Framework - if you are London office based or homebased and live within the boundary of the M25) - There is also an additional homeworking allowance of £553 per annum for those working from home

Contracted Hours: Full-time 37 hours per week or Part-time (no less than 29.6 hours / four days per week). Talk to us about compressed hours.

Contract Type: 12-month Fixed term / Secondment Opportunity

Location: Home-based, flexible location or hybrid working from the London Office (working a part of the week from home - two days).

About Us

The National Guardian's Office is jointly funded by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and NHS England and Improvement (NHSE). The office leads, trains and supports a network of Freedom to Speak Up (FTSU) Guardians in England and conducts speaking up reviews to identify learning and support improvement of the speaking up culture of the healthcare sector.

We are now looking for a Senior Intelligence Manager to join us on a full-time or part-time basis for a 12-month fixed-term contract.

What you will bring...

To be considered as a Senior Intelligence Manager, you will need:

- Experience of working in an analytical role (or similar)
- Experience of interpreting and presenting data sets to a wide range of audiences
- Line-management experience
- Excellent IT skills and experience of working with multiple data sets, developing dashboards, and using Power BI
- Excellent communication skills
- To be educated to degree-level or equivalent

What you'll be doing

As a Senior Intelligence Manager, you will help us become more data driven through championing our data analysis and business intelligence function.

Promoting a culture of speaking up in healthcare, you will be responsible for capturing and analysing feedback from NHS stakeholders, and developing data dashboards that will measure progress and drive improvements in healthcare practices and policies.

You will support the National Lead for Intelligence and Learning with: delivering analytical support to further improve our activity and quality of publications; ongoing query resolution for stakeholders; and ensuring the voices of workers can enhance our work.
