Position Available: Project Management Officer
Location: Hertfordshire (3 days a week in office)
Salary: Up to c. £50,000
Experience needed: Experience of PMO roles within a defence or aerospace environment. Knowledge of financial forecasting tools and RAID frameworks is essential, along with knowledge of project management tools such as budgeting, planning and risk management.
About the role
If you are a PMO specialist looking for a new role? If yes, then we may have the opportunity for you! We have a Project Management Officer role available in our Aerospace, Defence and Security function where you will lead the onboarding process for new starters, manage security obligations, and handle access permissions.
You will be responsible for monitoring project progress, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions in order to ensure smooth delivery of projects - while also being a key point of contact for stakeholders. You will also create and maintain project documentation, use corporate tools such as Jet to produce MI reports, and manage the RAID framework.
What we need from you:
- A background in PMO specialist roles, preferably in the Defence or Aerospace sector
- Knowledge and experience of using financial forecasting tools
- Knowledge and experience of working with RAID framework
- Strong analytical skills and knowledge of modern techniques used in problem resolution
- Knowledge of project management tools such as budgeting, planning, risk management
- It would be a bonus to have experience with SAFE, JET, ProjectView and iQ
- The candidate must hold either SC or DV clearance
