Finance Manager

Fantastic opportunity for a Finance Manager to join a great, very stable team working in an amazing setting.

This role would suit an individual who has worked within the Education sector, Charity or and SME. We will consider fully Qualified, QBE or an active studier for this role.

Day-to-day overall responsibility for the finance function, ensuring adequate processes and controls are in place.

  • Develop and prepare regular management information, including management accounts, budgets, re-forecasts and cashflow statements for internal use.
  • In charge of termly billing process
  • Financial Year End Audit Process including preparation of the SORP accounts
  • Responsible for accurate accounting records and lead on:
  • Lead on Credit Control process
  • Manage and oversee the running of payroll.
  • Pension Administration.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders – banks, auditors, insurance companies, HMRC etc.
  • Nominal Ledger
  • Sales Ledger / Billing
  • Purchase Ledger
  • Banking and Petty Cash
  • Trial Balance
  • P&L Accounts
  • Balance Sheet
  • Monthly credit cards
  • Maintain Fixed Assets Register
