Opus people solutions on behalf of Peterborough City Council have an exciting opportunity for a Team Manager in their Fostering Team.
Job Title: Team Manager - Fostering
Location: Peterborough
Pay rate: £48ph
Remote/Hybrid: Hybrid. Approx 1-2 days a week at office and WFH the rest of the time
Manage the daily operations and staff of the Fostering Recruitment Team which also includes making placements for children who need a foster family.
- To manage the overall decision making, planning and delivery of services to service users and their families.
- To manage a team of staff within the legislative and procedural framework of Peterborough City Council.
- To manage the allocated budget of the team for which the Manager is responsible.
- To contribute to the development of strategic policy and procedures within the Departmental Business planning processes
- To manage Children's Social Care (Fostering) within a Performance Management Framework that supports the priorities of the Service, Department and Council To lead and contribute to the development of the service area.
