Functional Skills / Employability Tutor (unqualified opportunity)

Salary:
up to £34,000 (Depending on skills and experience)
Type:
Full-time, Permanent
Duties:
- Deliver English, Maths, ESOL and Employability to small groups of learners.
- Deliver engaging training sessions and provide ongoing IAG to learners.
- Utilise existing delivery resources, as well as preparing own when required.
- The successful candidate will be flexible with their delivery methods, providing differentiation and be able to adapt quickly to learners needs.
- Assist learners in identifying the skills required to progress towards their career aspirations.
- The successful candidate must be engaging and able to demonstrate energy and passion to motivate / train clients in order to help learners realise their potential.
- Promote Equality and Diversity, Safeguarding and Health and Safety.
Essential Criteria:
- Full training and support is provided to achieve a teaching / training qualification*
- Hold Level 2 Maths and English (or equivalent such as Functional Skills/ GCSE / A Level or Degree etc).
- Have experience of delivering Training (ideally to small groups)
- Hold - or be willing to work towards - a Level 3 Teaching qualification (PTLLS/AET or equivalent).
- Have the ability to overcome barriers and motivate learners.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
